Learning Like Crazy, Inc. was founded by Patrick Jackson in the Summer of 2004 with the introduction of the first foreign language course for the company called Learning Spanish Like Crazy Level 1.

Learning Spanish Like Crazy was developed to teach conversational Latin American Spanish. The course was developed after Patrick realized that the Spanish that Latin American actually speak was different from the Spanish that he had learned from other self-study Spanish courses.

In late 2005, Joél Contreras joined as the President and Chief Excutive officer.

Since 2006, the company has launched a level two of the very popular Learning Spanish Like Crazy, a Learning Italian Like Crazy course, and a Spanish verb conjugation software called the Verbarrator that has been met with some very positive reviews.

Joél and Patrick are very passionate about the company and have one simple message for every single customer, that message is “we care very much about you!”
